William Osler had various haircuts during his lifetime. He reached fame as a world-class physician and university teacher. However, the Canadian pathologist, physician, educator, bibliophile, historian, author, cofounder of Johns Hopkins Hospital was specially known for his beautiful sense of fashion and his pleasant character. Before his tragic demise at age 70 he was again and again talked about in the press because of his outstanding hair and looks.
